Am intrigued by your suggestion about the 3 Institutions note book and would like to get this going too. May I suggest that you commence by starting a new notebook and entering something then passing on to another with the idea that they then forward in turn? Would like to contribute. Suggest that when it is forwarded that there is a timelimit attached for sending on , eg i am away now all of March give or take a day or two, so not me yet!

Look forward to contributing ans to seeing what happens both on the pages and as dialogue. Is there a theme to this notebook?

a three institute sketchbook project? John Short

I would like to discuss a three institute sketchbook project for staff and students . I have already discussed a joint project with Sara Dyer from Kingston , following her visiting lecture here at DIT and I would like to discuss this idea with Mario Minichiello and Liz Minichiello from Loughborough and our post graduate student in Drawing -Yijia Wang - perhaps towards three dimensional drawings as an out come, involving sketchbook drawing, photography and 3d elements?? Concrete outcomes - I dont know yet but I would be happy to discuss.
